FAQ: Cactus Silk

What is Cactus Silk?

Cactus silk, also known as Sabra silk, is a luxurious, plant-based fiber made from the leaves of the Saharan aloe vera (Agave cactus). Cactus silk is often dyed using natural, vibrant colors, giving each product its unique appearance and charm.

How to Care for Cactus Silk

Cactus silk is a delicate material and requires special care:

    • Avoid Contact with Water: Cactus silk is sensitive to moisture, which can damage the fibers or cause colors to fade.
    • Do Not Spot Clean: For the best results, have your pillows, poufs, and rugs dry cleaned only. This will preserve their quality and vibrant colors.

      Unfilled Pillows and Poufs

Please note that our cactus silk pillows and poufs come without filling. The pillows feature a zipper on a side and the poufs along three sides for easy stuffing. Stuffing can be easily found in most hardware or home goods stores.

        Unique Colors and Designs

Each cactus silk product is one-of-a-kind, featuring intricate Berber symbol embroidery. However, due to variations in photography and monitor color settings, the actual colors of the products may appear slightly different from what you see on screen.
